4. Processing (3-10 business days): After approval, the refund is actually processed. This involves issuing the refund through the original payment method. Depending on the payment processor and banking systems, this step usually takes 3 to 10 business days.
5. Refund Issuance: The refund is issued to the customer's account once processed. The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account varies depending on their bank or payment method.
6. Confirmation (optional): We may send a confirmation email or notification to the customer once the refund has been successfully processed and issued.
7. Completion: The refund process is considered complete once the refunded amount is successfully transferred to the customer's account.
Keep in mind that these timelines are approximate and can vary depending on factors such as the Emirates Dubai Visa internal processes, banking systems, and payment processors. Additionally, some refunds may require additional verification steps or documentation, which can extend the processing time.
For certain nationalities, the UAE Immigration Department may mandate a refundable security deposit as part of the visa approval process. This amount is collected strictly as per Immigration requirements and shall be refunded only upon successful compliance with the terms below.
The security deposit refund shall be processed only after the applicant’s successful exit from the UAE and confirmation received from the UAE Immigration regarding departure status.
The standard processing period for security deposit refunds is 20–30 working days from the date of exit confirmation.
In rare cases where bank restrictions, technical issues, or cross-border transfer delays occur, refund processing may take up to 6 months to 5 years depending on the respective bank or financial institution’s policies.
If, for any valid reason, the refund cannot be credited to your bank account, you may choose to receive a travel voucher equivalent to the refundable amount.
The voucher can be used for future services offered by Emirates Dubai Visa, including:
Visa applications
Travel insurance
Flight bookings
Hotel reservations
Airport transfers and transportation
Tourist activities in the UAE (such as desert safaris, city tours, hot air balloon rides, etc.)
The voucher will remain valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and can be utilized for multiple services, subject to availability.
The refundable amount shall be 70% of the deposited sum.
The remaining 30% of the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers:
UAE Immigration’s tourism and processing fees,
Bank transfer charges,
Currency exchange differences, and
Administrative and handling costs.
All transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or intermediary bank deductions incurred during the refund process are borne solely by the applicant and are non-refundable.
The security deposit shall be forfeited without refund in the following cases:
The applicant overstays beyond the permitted visa duration.
The applicant fails to exit the UAE as per Immigration requirements.
Any penalties, fines, or blacklisting are imposed by UAE Immigration for visa misuse or non-compliance.
The applicant provides false, misleading, or incomplete information at any stage of visa processing.
The applicant does not cooperate or respond to refund verification requirements or immigration correspondence.
The applicant’s bank account or payment gateway restrictions prevent the refund from being successfully processed.
The security deposit refund is strictly subject to approval from UAE Immigration.
Emirates Dubai Visa shall not be liable for any delays, partial refunds, or forfeitures arising due to Immigration policies, technical issues, or applicant-side complications.
By submitting a visa application requiring a security deposit, you agree to all the terms mentioned in this Security Deposit Policy and acknowledge that no disputes or claims shall be raised once the application is submitted and processed.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to travel at the time of application and travel. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed prior to submitting the visa application. Non-disclosure of medical information shall be considered the sole responsibility of the applicant.
If an applicant travels without carrying required medications or without appropriate medical preparedness, such travel is undertaken at the applicant’s own risk. The company shall not be held responsible for any medical emergencies, health deterioration, hospitalization, or related issues arising during travel or stay in the UAE.
Any visa delay, rejection, cancellation, or inability to travel due to medical unfitness, medical emergencies, or undisclosed health conditions is not eligible for a refund. Immigration decisions related to medical fitness are subject to the sole discretion of the concerned authorities.
By submitting an application through our platform, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the above terms and confirms that the company bears no liability in matters related to medical fitness or health conditions.
1. Credit / Debit Card Reversal: If the original payment was made using a credit card, the refund may be processed as a reversal of the transaction. This means the amount is credited back to the same credit card used for payment.
2. Bank Transfer: This option is available only if you pay the fee through our bank account. In that case, a refund may be issued via a bank transfer to the applicant's designated bank account. Applicants might need to provide their bank account details for this option.
3. Online Payment Platforms: If the payment was made through an online payment platform like PayPal or any other payment provider, the refund might be processed back to the same account used for payment.
4. Credit Towards Future Services: In some cases, we may offer the option to receive credit for future services instead of a monetary refund. This credit can be applied to any future service provided by the Dubai E Visa Online.
5. Voucher or Gift Card: Instead of a cash refund, the applicant may be offered a voucher or gift card that can be used for future services.
